Apr 22, 7:30 pm – Transportation Meeting (Naval Club)

The Transportation Committee will be having a meeting on April 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Naval Club (1910 Gerrard St. E just east of Woodbine on the North side) to discuss traffic issues in the Beach.

We have teamed up with both the GBNA (Greater Beach Neighbourhood Association) and Greening Ward 32 to not only pool resources and share info, but to devise an over-arching transportation vision for Ward 32.

This meeting will be devoted to traffic, especially as it relates to evening rush hour congestion, so we can tackle the issue in a focused way.  Hope you can make it!

Background Info:  There is a lot swirling in the Ward and across the City in regards to traffic, transportation and transit, especially with the Big Move by Metrolinx really starting to take off.  Also, we are about to have a traffic study done along Queen St. this spring and summer with results in the fall.  I’ve been in touch with the Councillor and the fellow at the City who does the traffic study so as to better understand what is involved and how it works….. Adam.
